By the hand of God, in January 2011, Trinity was able to secure a church building in which it has seen exponential growth in membership and through the vision given to Pastor Walls by God, Trinity has acquired a brand new 22 passenger church bus, purchased a Hammond B3 organ, Yamaha keyboard, drums and sound and video equipment; multiple forms of social media Facebook, Twitter, and church website to share the Gospel and reaches beyond our four walls with our Hope of Glory broadcast four days a week @ 8:30am on WEXY 1520 AM.

On Saturday, July 31, 2010, Trinity COGIC hosted its first fund-raiser in the form of a dinner sale. This function was spearheaded by the dutiful efforts of Sister Joyce Monroe and Sister Lela Atwell. The dinner sale was held at her home and was supported by the entire membership, through cooking, cleaning, delivering and shopping. The Lord truly blessed, as the occasion was a tremendous success reflecting a complete sell out of all food items.

In our endeavor to secure a more stable place of worship, by the divine order of God, Pastor Walls was introduced to Pastor Dave Anderson, the pastor of Lighthouse Covenant. Pastor Anderson graciously welcomed Trinity to lease this beautiful facility located in Tamarac, Florida. On Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Lighthouse Covenant, Pastor Dave Anderson and Pastor Frankie Walls hosted a joint Fellowship Service to mark the occasion of Trinity’s new church location.

Since that time, Trinity has been a leader in the ministry by hosting several community-based engagements including the following:

  • “Behold they Mother” Annual Women’s Day and Fellowship Brunch – April 2011 and May 2012
  • “100 Men Standing Together in Holiness” First Annual Men’s Day – August 2012
  • Host Church for the Bishop’s Visit to the East Coast District – May 2012
  • 2012 District Revival at Trinity with guest evangelist, Elect Lady Jeanette Walker and again at St Thomas with District Evangelist, Pastor Frankie Walls – July 2012;

These events are just a few to name of the countless holiday celebrations and family festivities, which underscore Trinity’s vision for faith, family and community!

It was also during this time of growth and development that we lost two of our dearest members, in the persons of Deacon Emanuel Rolle and Sister Kimberly Smith. Truly their legacies, labors of love and contributions to the ministry will forever be etched in the Trinity COGIC history.

By the hand of God, after Trinity secured the Tamarac church building, we experience exponential growth in membership and through the vision given to Pastor Walls by God.
